That's ridiculous. You must never have been on a team before else you'd know that a teammate like Edie is invaluable and very much worth awarding a late-career scholarship to. NO TEAM with 15 members is going to be stacked with every player being capable of being in the starting lineup against most teams. There are always, in every program, dedicated end-of-bench players who so often represent the very heart of a team, going into practice day in and day out unselfishly giving their all to make their active teammates better.I know that but just because she’s on the team now doesn’t mean the staff is going to give her a scholarship. She will not be on the team if that rule takes place next year, you can’t give a scholarship to a non P5 player. That’s why are rosters haven’t been competitive in the past bc Kellie gave players who aren’t Power5 players a scholarship.
And if you watch the bench on those rare times Edie gets into a game and scores, you'll see by the reactions of her teammates and staff how much she means to them all. Yes, she deserves a full scholarship and I hope she gets one. It's so much bigger than what you appear to understand.
