2025 Transfer Portal

Duke and Virginia Tech were the was the only power 5 conference teams that didn't play. Vanderbilt ended their season at some point in January due to a combo of several injuries and COVID issues depleting the team. For most teams, there was just a couple of games either cancelled or postponed due to a COVID breakout. The NCAA tournament was played in it's entirety. Perhaps on the latter matter you are thinking of the 2020 NCAA tournament, which was cancelled as it was scheduled a couple of weeks after the beginning of the lockdown.
It was Virginia not Virginia Tech who didn't play that season.

I think the schedule determines who has the best chance to win the conference along with home and away. Some team could gain a game just by drawing a team they play twice who is a bottom of the league type. Tennessee improved their roster greatly from last season. Texas and SC about the same. LSU strong perimeter not quite as strong inside and right now only three players one a freshman that fit that position. I know Oklahoma has a strong roster as well, but they missed out on Kneepkens and that was a big loss for them.

Coach Kim, in the off season, will be teaching the young ones how to be Lady Vols...

Gotta love seeing someone get one over on Brenda now and then.

That’s a big loss for them with Kubek leaving for FSU. They need some physicality and have none right now.

Merkel and McMiller will be an interesting duo. Kyomi will have shot the ball before Gracie ever clears half court on most possessions.

Brenda is a good coach, I don’t ever get the hate.

For SC, Watkins will not play in the first half of the season. Unknown what she will do in the second half. McDowell is going to play early though, she will be in the rotation a bunch. If I were the coach and I had any sway on Watkins decisions, I’d tell her to redshirt, but I don’t know what she will do.

That and, “Everybody knows that…” are the common tipoffs that there is absolutely no evidence to support the attack that follows.

Got facts?
Put up or shut up, as us kids said in the 1950s.
Right before the other kid swung a keyboard up side yer head… 🤣
