That's assuming what we saw was exactly the scheme she will run. I think she is a much better coach than some believe and she will adjust to what she's been dealt. One thing for sure, she is killin' it recruiting.

Dont really think its nobody else worth looking at...and at this point our roster is extremely loaded so we are already going to hve problems distributing mins so you roll with what you got which is 14 athletes that can get up and down the floor i expect rebounding especially offensively to skyrocket so we may not have to take alot of 3s and to be honest we are good enough from three now we have people that can create for themselves and others....spear and tess had a hard time creating for themselves so hopefully that even things out

Logic says the LVs are loaded with talent now....They're fast "twice" at every position...No more tug boats to be taken advantage of.....Speed and more speed is the order of the day....

If the refs will stay out of the way, no one will be able to stop us. The LVs will own the 4th quarter...Our opponents will be exhausted...Their legs will be gone.

Kim has built a team that everyone will dread playing...

I would think so. Also, with so many penetrators, I hope a higher proportion of our threes compared to last year are from drive, penetrate, and dish out. I imagine she will still encourage any decent three-point shooter to take an open three.

Potentially we have five players that could be as good or better than anyone we had shooting them last season. Hurst, Pauldo twins, Robertson, and Prawl.

Ten seems to be the magic number if we take 30. We made six of 30 a few times and those were the losses. I think we made more than ten against Texas at their place and still lost in the last minute of the game.

I'm thinking if we got just 2 more threes and then two more two-pt baskets either off steals, fast breaks or offensive rebound put-backs, that's the 10 points Kim wants. And given the fact that we have the potential to be both quicker and better rebounders overall, I don't think that's gonna be too much to ask for. I suspect we'll find it a little easier to get people space to get off shots with this particular roster makeup.

I was just going to interject that I think Civil will be the best of the entire bunch, all around,,,offense, speed, defense, one-on-one etc,,,she's a Doberman in a pack of Greyhounds

Even as a high-schooler Civil was already moving her body like a young pro. To my eye, of all our new players Jaida has the most potential to be an eventual high first-round draft pick. She's already got "it," but like most kids she'll get even more "it" as she matures and focuses and, of course, gets better coaching and conditioning and strength work. Last but not least, having the benefit of competing every day with teammates who will push her to get better may be what turns her from really good to great. She's got the body and natural ability. She just needs the platform.

I'm actually genuinely impressed with all of the incoming freshmen from all I've seen since they signed. I believe if everyone stays healthy we could have a special season. I really do.

That sounds a bit ridiculous considering 20-21 had a worldwide pandemic and no one got to play a full season and now they are making a rule change that will affect the current NCAA players. Allowing one class that is no longer eligible for competition due to the rules they played under would be like opening that 5th year to all players of past years to come back for that 5th year of eligibility. What about all players past that only got 4 years, do they now all get a 5th year. The answer would be no. They completed their eligibility under the 4 year rule.

Duke and Virginia Tech were the was the only power 5 conference teams that didn't play. Vanderbilt ended their season at some point in January due to a combo of several injuries and COVID issues depleting the team. For most teams, there was just a couple of games either cancelled or postponed due to a COVID breakout. The NCAA tournament was played in it's entirety. Perhaps on the latter matter you are thinking of the 2020 NCAA tournament, which was cancelled as it was scheduled a couple of weeks after the beginning of the lockdown.
