Those 1950s keyboards were inseparable from about thirty pounds of typewriter.

Goodness those were heavy beasts. When I took typing in the late seventies, there were two smith-corona electrics in the front row. The rest were beasts. Mid seventies. Best class I ever took. The coach/typing teacher offered me a summer job teaching swimming at a ymca day camp with his daughter. I was a freshman, she was a junior. I think he wanted me to keep an eye on his daughter… I kept an eye on his daughter… 😈

Always hard due to the repeating vowels.
I have a wordle addiction, as I often will wait up till midnight when the new puzzle is posted despite limiting my sleep on workdays (I guess this is evidence of an addiction - Please keep this confidential per HIPPA ). I thought of Knox too when the word was
Elite. I typically don't like the words with several vowels, but I was able to guess Elite quickly. We have been brainwashed!! I guess I also owe Knox some thanks.

Every day I play these NYT games, in this order: Wordle, Connections, Strands, Mini Crossword and Spelling Bee. One time I opted to play Connections first and it threw my entire day off. Lesson learned. 😅
