He doesn't want to start his head coaching career at a small program. He wants a program that can succeed, but those programs want a proven head coach. That's what's gonna keep UT from pursuing him imo.

Not that any of this really matters, but FTR there isn't exactly a large population of hokies in virginia west of blacksburg. Most of the Hokie Nation is east of blacksburg, and will not be traveling through knoxville.

VT did it first fwiw. I've never seen the UT entrance in person (i will in a few days!!) Jumping up and down to metallica really gets you pumped up like nothing else. It may not be for everyone, but it works for me. The T carries great tradition and i can't wait to see it.
