I like the conclusion. Here are 4-5 reasons why UT should beat the Hokies but let's ignore those and say the Hokies are due. That is great logic which is what I've been hearing from Hokie fans for the past month.

Yeah, who else have I heard saying this lately? Oh yeah, it was Kentucky fans!

The analysis with the match-ups is solid. I obviously disagree with the notion that VT beats UT. I think we win. I also thing Crompton plays a solid game as well as Hardesty. I think also that Brown is being overlooked.

If Monte and company have a few weeks to spend on anyone. lets say I think we have the advantage.

Have the Hokies played a 'Run it down your throat' team this year? GT is a bit gimmicky, so I wouldn't count them. I'm talking about the type of pro style attack we employ.

The reason I ask is because of how Wisconsin pushed Miami all over the field last night. I'm betting attempting the same tactic against a comparably equipped ACC school is what the Lane Train has in mind.

I'd say Bama falls in that category, of course we lost that one.,
The VT defense is NOT the miami defense!

I heard an interview with one of their D players on the radio last night and he was saying that after watching film on UT that he would compare us to BC's style of O. He said that we had a big, strong OL (which made me laugh) and a great RB and that combination reminded him of BC.

Just tells you the competition level they are used to facing on a regular basis. If heart and work ethic counted I'd say we have the biggest, strongest o line in the NCAA, but we all know when push comes to mountain (Cody) we got nothin'.

Tomorrow should be a good day to be orange:rock:

Scratch that...what was I thinking? It's always a good day to be orange just tomorrow is going to be, um... gooder :)

Agreed. Your D looks a bit bigger, a bit more disciplined, and a hair slower. Is that a fair assessment?

I just can't see VT's player getting that motivated for this game. I think if we punch them in the mouth early and often, we could see their players lose all interest.
