Praying Before Game WILL NOT BE STOPPED AT UT (merged)

After reading through pages and pages of garbage, I had to chime in. My wife is Muslim and I am a christian. We co-exist and live and raise our daughter with our family values. This does not create an issue with us. The prayer before the game, does resonate mainly with Christians, because other...

How does Vols football affect your life?

Thank you, I appreciate it. Hopefully I'll be able to get to a game next year, as we try to get back stateside.

How does Vols football affect your life?

Being stationed overseas, it gives me a feeling of home. I normally have to wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning to be able to watch the games, but it is worth it win or lose. Seeing the POWER T and the sea of orange makes me proud and reminds me of my childhood spending the day with my grandfather...

    Not ranked in top 10

I'm optimistic that the running game is going to be improved, but I'm not going to place any of our running backs in the top ten of the leaque without them showing it first. I hope you are right and they are number 1 and 2 in the leaque, but I'll take the wait and see approach.

    Favorite Defensive Vol

I had forgotten about Terry Fair. Definitely one of my favorites growing up. Also, Dwayne Goodrich when he was here. Anyone remember those billboards that were on 40 with him on there?

Bray visits 5th grader at school

It looked like he was uncomfortable and maybe these social events take him out of his comfort zone. Just nice to see him go and do this for that little boy, even if he didn't want to be there.

    Realistically Dooley gets 4 years

Look, I understand both sides of the argument. But lets be realistic, if he doesn't produce next year at least 8-9 games, we really need to gauge interest from some up and coming smaller conference coaches, or an established veteran. There are many instances around the country that show holding...

JP Prince to play in China (11/1/11)

I got the chance to meet him when he was playing in Turkey. Really nice guy, wish nothing but the best. Loved watching him play at UT.

    Big 10/acc vs sec

Thanks for your input. That's what I was trying to get out of this. To try and see what was more important to the everyday fan.

    Big 10/acc vs sec

    Very good point.

    Big 10/acc vs sec

Were you able to read the "hypothetical" portion of the question? This was just to see what other fans thoughts were.

    Big 10/acc vs sec

Like I said, I love being in the SEC. Just wondering if fans thought wins were more important than which conference we play in.

    Big 10/acc vs sec

Which is more important to you, wins or playing in the SEC? With all of the talk of how bad our program/HC is, and how we continue to slide into football irrelevance, would anyone consider this an option if we were to receive an offer from one of these conferences? It would almost guarantee a...

What the Oregon game means, and what it doesn't mean

Hopefully they exert a tremendous amount of effort, and there is some cohesion amongst them. Do you think we will try to use our apparent weakness on the o-line as a tool to set up screens and dump plays to counteract the speed of Oregon's D?

What the Oregon game means, and what it doesn't mean

I must admit, I'm extremely excited/nervous about this matchup. Our defense has to be fundamentally strong in every aspect of the game tonight, and our offense must secure the ball and score some early points to get the crowd and the team confident in their abilities to win the ball game. I...
