Funny sidenote.... When Rashad was playing at UT, I had my kids convinced he was my illegitimate son. He was just enough older than them to be born before I met their Mother. Still a running joke in our family.

That...was a special moment in my life.

I didn't know humans could do that.

One of the greatest visuals of the Fulmer era, really.

1.Eric Berry
2. Al Wilson
3. Gibril Wilson
4. Jason Allen
5. Deon Grant & Terry Fair

There are a lot of them out there.:)

I had forgotten about Terry Fair. Definitely one of my favorites growing up. Also, Dwayne Goodrich when he was here. Anyone remember those billboards that were on 40 with him on there?

So many good ones ... but when I first came to LSU from Tennessee, I had to watch the Tennessee/LSU game in a local Pizza Hut ... I'll never forget Reggie White, the Minister of Defense, totally whipping his blocker and meeting Dalton Hilliard behind the line of scrimmage about the same time DH got the handoff. SMACK!!! If you are a running back, that's one collision you'd rather not experience.

Have to comment on these two: Scott Galyon and Eric Westmoreland.

That trio of Westmoreland, Wilson and Thompson was as good as it will EVER get. Other personal favs were Dale Carter, Todd Kelly, Big John Henderson

Great job everyone.

Such great memories from the past.

If our current kids could have the burning desire, attitude to never quit and always Win and the heart of some of our past players and pass those things along to new kids every year we'd always be a top 5 team and the National Championships would roll in.

I wish CDD could start a program to pay guys from the UT past to come in and do a seminar every week to help motivate our current players.

1 past great player a week for 40 weeks per year and what great things they would hear and learn and the new kids would quickly learn what real heart is and what it means to give your all for Tennessee every single day.

Tennessee has so many greats from our storied past and a few in the making that CDD has brought in.

It's ALWAYS great to be a real Tennessee fan and a VFL!!!

VFL...GBO!!!

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure he's referring to the three of them playing together, creating the best trio of LBs. Don't think he was calling Westmoreland or Thompson as two of the greatest ever.

Can't tell you how many free delis I got from the guy at the bottom of 17th street after you cross over Cumberland....was it Time Out Deli? He thought I had a younger brother on the team. Can't tell you his last name cause I need to keep part of my identity secret!!! He is one of my ALL TIME favorite Vols. Played from 79 - 83.
