Before this game starts, I can't tell you how glad I am I came over and read the other sides perspective on this game. Best of luck to the Vols, and hopefully everyone stays healthy on both sides. This game doesn't define either team's season, so hopefully it is a clean game on both sides...

I've heard it could be uproots of 20-30 thousand. Won't mess up the checkerboard, but with the hype around the team, and being a top 25 traditional power matchup, this might be the most traveling Sooners for a road game ever. The whole "Booooooomer" and "Soooooonneer" thing will get old quick, too.

Honestly, as the game approaches, I could say, "I hate Smokey and someone would get pissed." A rivalry is starting and I don't like. Stay chill, Sooner and Vols fans.

As I've said multiple times. I truly believe Tennessee is the better team. But I have also reiterated that Oklahoma just poses a bad matchup for Tennessee. Oklahoma's strengths on Offense go up against Tennessee's weaknesses, as Tennessee's strengths on offense play into Oklahoma's strengths...

Yeah, the tradition between the two are second to none. We have Ohio State for two years starting next year. Crazy to think OU has/will have played Florida State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Ohio State two years each for eight years.

OU has five Heisman trophy winners FWIW. Billy Sims, Jason White, Sam Bradford, Billy Vessels, Steve Owens.

The thing OU fans don't see is that the Sooners OL is just not up to what it is usually. The Sooners only have one potential NFL guy for this year on it. Orlando Brown and Dru Samia have a chance, but they are only freshman. Kenyon Frison is the best of the bunch, but he is suspended right now...

Trust me here fellas...... Stats don't mean anything. Last year Bob Stoops lost the weeks before and after Texas for the first time ever. First time Bob lost more than two home games in a single year. First time a team other than Texas beat Oklahoma in back-to-back years. History does...

Although Oklahoma is considered the best program in the modern era (Since WWII), I always love talking to my dad about how Barry Switzer and Nebraska at the time would recruit. They would over-sign every year, lying to recruits about playing time, just to make sure they didn't go elsewhere...

Have you been able to meander over to youtube and watch the Sooners first game? Getting plays off in less than 8 seconds at times against Akron. That is something to watch for on Saturday

Disagree with the quickness, but I do think BGSU's QB has a chance to have a better year than Baker Mayfield

This game will be decided by who disrupts each others primary attacks. For Oklahoma, they have to disrupt your Read Option game. For the Vols, it is stop Oklahoma's short passing game. At that point, which ever coaching staff makes the quickest adjustments will win.
