RPI Discussion.

We were 5th to last team in on the mock selection draft that lunardi has been tweeting about.

If I'm undertaking the process correctly that was guaranteed in. Others will get in later on after they sort conference winners, so that may increase to 6-8 range fwiw. But yea as a 11 seed like most have us that's about 5-8 to last team in.

Because Missouri won last night so they hurdled us. A win tomorrow and we will hit between 38-42 IMO.
I'll supply the negative.
A loss, which is projected, will put us about where we were going into the SECT last season (55-56).
A couple of weeks ahead in RPI but wins close to the same at this point.
With Martin's tournament percentage at .333, a 6 game streak is just about imperative.

A loss doesn't drop us that much, loss at Vandy dropped us 2 spots iirc

Also, what was our SOS last year? There's a lot more working in our favor this year IMO.

crazy to see the SOS for the other bubble teams in the SEC compared to ours. ESPN has ours at 8, Mizzou at 63, Ole Miss at 91, and LSU at 88.

We are now 5-6 over our last 11 games. 53 RPI. We pretty much need to win out, due to the lack of decent teams remaining. A loss to anyone other than Missouri would almost guarantee we are out.

what would a loss to UGA do to tennessee's rpi? also what website do you guys use for the latest rpi info? i know we moved into the top 100 in rpi and hopefully after today's win over a 61 rpi ole miss we move up a few spots. UGA has no shot at the ncaa tourney, but being in sole possession of 3rd place in the SEC at least shows this team is competing and hopefully we can give Tennessee a game at your place. the vols will be a hard team to beat at home.

Yup.

The next 5 are games we should win, and easily, the question becomes will we? A loss to any of the next 5 pretty much does ya in.

What are you smoking?

When you're 15-10, virtually no games are games you should win. Especially when you've already lost to 3 of those teams. Should win? Yeah right. Easily?

Could win... but should win? I'll have what you're smoking.

I gotta say, I'm surprised at the 4 point bump. That coupled with Providence FINALLY losing, it was a good night! On to the next one.
