RPI Discussion.

Looking at the Physcy of this team.
Draining loss to FL.
On the road against a team it will take a similar effort.
Haven't seen the energy 2 games in a row since December.
Win, it's all good. Loss is devastating.

Check out our record after losses this year, it's pretty impressive and kinda disputes that physcy thing you're talking about.

I think they're much more likely to win Saturday and slip up elsewhere than they are to lose Saturday and take care of their other business.

We'll compare crystal balls after the game.

Didn't wanna look up our record after losses this year?

And how many back to back losses have we had this year?

Not saying we win, but our trends from this year suggest we come to play.
Looked it up.
Willing to wait and see.

Thanks for making my point. At this point of the season each of the last 2 years he had Tennessee in. He was wrong both times. I never said he didn't pick right at the end.

No one had us in the last two seasons, and we were never in the tournament. We were barely above .500 at this point in both years. We started to get in the conversation when we finished well both years.

Regardless of being disappointed this year or not, I have no idea how people believe that we are in the same spot or worse than the last two years.

I have supported Martin fully until now. I no longer can believe he should be retained. It is obvious to anyone with a basketball IQ that he is another coach that wins 60% of his games. I think he is a great individual with high ethics and a leader. But he is not going to take this program to the level I want to see. His stats year to year prove that. Keep him, he will not do better. Or find someone that can do better.

We were on the bubble each of the last two seasons and both seasons Lunardi said more than once he thought we were in before the final games of the season.

Worse because this team should not be on the freaking bubble, if they are that talented.

No he didn't, wtf are you talking about? We weren't even on the bubble, or being mentioned.

Ahhh, but we WERE. In the deluded minds of the VN faithful, who consistently overestimate everything preseason, and then get punked when the reality of our talent sets in.

When you don't understand what a basketball is,you should abstain from comments.

Deluded?
So in your estimation of our talent: Xavier, UTEP, TAMU, NC ST and Vandy are all better teams.
Jeesh. We must be over achieving. thanks for clearing that up.

History has shown that we bounce back from a loss and we never been on a losing streak except once this year which was two will see. It'll be a good game. We need to come out fast like we did against ole miss and bama.

Agreed, we need to bounce back. Hey I'm still pulling for my beloved Vols but I fear any hope of the tourney is gone. We shall see.

Real time RPI and several other RPI services have dropped Tennessee to 50 in their rankings. CBS is still 49.

We were 5th to last team in on the mock selection draft that lunardi has been tweeting about.
