Work has cooperated as of late. For a solid year before it did not. Gained 30 pounds.

Well I hope for your sake they keep cooperating. I guess I could run before work but that means I would have to get up around 5 or 530 and I am just not ready to do that yet.

probably about to blow a lot of money. headed to Raleigh Runner's Outfitters and maybe Fleet Feet if I have time before meeting my sister to see Third Day in concert. Just going for shoes, but I'm sure I'll wind up with more.

My left Achilles has been sore since my long run Saturday. However I ran with an ankle brace last night and it felt ok. Anyone experienced this type of pain before and if so, how'd you deal with it?

are you running on a road with a crown? That could be it. Or it could be shoes.

Don't know what a crown is. I guess it could be the shoes but also could be because I'd never run that far before?

could also be the lack of running Lot's of roads down here are higher in the middle, if you run on them for long it will cause leg problems.

I noticed when I started running on the road more that I had a little more leg soreness. So maybe the road crown is the cause.

Yeah the road I run on I couldn't run in the middle. Way too many cars.

My wife finished her second 5k race today. Time was 24:29 and she was the 11th female, but I am not sure how many runners there were. I am proud of her because she has been working the past three months towards this run and that is probably on of her best times.
