The Runner's thread

Has anyone else tried the "run zombie" app?

It makes running into a game. You have to outrun zombies on your runs and you will pick up supplies along your run. When you complete your run you return back to your "base" and choose how to distribute your supplies.

Apparently an entire story will unfold on a run between songs. Just found this interesting. I have not tried the app, but I may before to long

Sounds intresting. May have to try this out.

6X200 m today at mile pace to stretch out the legs before the race on Saturday. Running the 5k in the expo and if times are like they were last year and I run where I think I can, I have a chance at making top 3.

Step-son ran a 7min mile today (he lost 80+ lbs so he could enlist). His recruiter was really surprised. I am so proud of him!!!

2 miles on treadmill to warm up before my inside out gym workout. tomorrow running either 6 or 8.5 depending on what the ladies want to do.

Another 3 miles last night in 21:32. During the run it didn't really feel that fast and at the turn around it wasn't really that fast. I must have picked up in the second half of the run to pull that pace.

That is really moving; nice! Schedule did not allow a run early today so now looking at temps in the low 90s. I'll try to get 3-4 in late this afternoon.

Just finished 4 after the temp had dropped down to a refreshingly humid 88 degrees. just.brutal.

Zombie game had a semi interesting storyline. The first mission is only 3 miles long. The good thing is when you finish the mission with your running it will go right into the next mission. It's pretty interesting

10 miles yesterday evening/night. Saw a 5 ft black snake, a bear, 3 baby birds learning to fly, tiny frog, deer and two bats trying to make baby bats. Awesome run.

3rd overall in the expo 5k today in ~19:30. Granted the faster runners were running the 10k but I'll take what I can get. Haha

Great job tri and zach. Did 4 this morning. Winding down for my 1/2 next Sunday. Getting nervous
