This dude will never start at Texas. They have tons of big, fast linebackers. We don't. We needed him, but just opens up an oppurtunity for a 2013 recruit.

If higher ranked linebacker called Mack Brown and wanted to sign with Texas wed then they would drop Santos like a rock. Poor decision by kid.

This kinda thing happens, sucks that it happened so late, that said, our defensive commits are really good across the board, seems as though Kirven is in the fold which would take it over the top.

After all this, I am convinced Santos would be another Bryce Brown. Best to find out now.

Need to enjoy the group of great guys we have who realize what it is to be a VFL. Those are the ones we want and can build on.

It's great to be a Tennessee Vol! Those who do not appreciate that fact do not deserve to be here.

I'm not going to bash him as a player/person because we have seen nothing from him at the college level, and I fully understand his decision to fulfill his dreams of playing for his favorite school.

However, he's not a position of need for us. I'm PSYCHED with our current linebacking core. The best part about them is that they will be sophomores this coming year (Johnson and Maggitt), giving us at least two more seasons from them and plenty of time to recruit a stud next year. Plus, we still have Otha committed!

Cheer up, VolNation. All is well. GO VOLS!

I guess UT will never recruit a good MLB again.I bet Santos would of been as great as Askew was at UT.Who cares what these kids do.They got to get here first and then prove they can do it.
