Good. We can finally get some closure. If true, let the meltdown begin.

there's no reason for a meltdown. The kid's dream was to play for UTx and he got the offer. He would have been a great piece of the class but losing him won't break the class. Maybe we can mitigate the damage by getting Quanzell Lambert or somebody.

The mods should probably just close this thread for the next week or so. There's nothing to gain from it for now.

Now since he's gone we can adjust and make the necessary moves without him. With the players coming in and returning we are fine without him.

Good luck to him. Can't fault a kid for going to his dream school. Not a surprise. Would lie to have him, but we'll be fine.

Personally, I think the guy is a douschebag. He stated over and over again he's all Vol, and that he can't wait to get to Tennessee and knock heads. I think he has character issues and I hope he rides the pine at Texas for 4 years.

I know someone will take a shot at for me saying that...but it's my opinion and I have thought it all along.

On another note, I live in Texas and I hate these MF'ing redneck Texas fans!!

Expected a full meltdown when I clicked on this thread. I'm glad to see it's more sensible than usual.

We'll be fine, guys. It's just one player.

Going be tough to compete in a vertical passing league @ 255 lb LB. Much better fit for the SEC but best of luck to him regardless. Guess Texas was that .1%

I think he would have had a much more successful career at Tennessee based on us going to a 3-4 defense but oh well it's his dads choice...

i mean his.

Why is everyone assuming this is all his dad's doing? If he insisted on him staying close to home I don't think he would have allowed his son to commit to Tennessee in the first place.
