i find it amusing how everyone on here (myself included) has been so excited about this kid throughout the whole process. Now, we all assume that he's flipping to TU and everyone is asking why we were so excited over a 3 star in the 1st place. Lot's of people are trying to run him down now since he's not gonna be a vol. It sucks having such a massive thread for a player that's going to another school. but it is what it is....best of luck Dalton!

Best of luck to Dalton, really glad he handled this professionally and he did it quickly, so we can move on with our class. Thank God, I never have to read this thread again.

I would love to find out how much money we spent recruiting this kid.

Ok I'm back, sucks but I do hope a lot of recruiting noobies learned some tough love lessons with this guy. Im interested to see how his career goes, good luck kid.

Oh well...this kid is not going to make or break this class, we have plenty of studs on board and if we land Kirven I will forget this kid even exists. Career backup at Texas.

I've wondered all along why the big deal over a 3* recruit.

Interesting that Rivals has the most current weight on Santos (255 lbs) and rates him a 3*. Scout and ESPN contrast still have him at 240 and a 4*. Is he growing out of the linebacker position like Marlon Walls? Does Richie Brown at 228 lbs (and much faster than Santos) wind up playing in the 250 lb range after all?

Well with all of TCU's recent success and being part of the big 12 could make a dent in some of Tejas's recruiting.

It'll help them some but no way it'll be a dent. More like a pesky little nat. Tcu is a private school so they have a academic bar set that they can't bend as much as the others. They say that don't do it already but its as credible as girl at the bar telling u she's only been with a few guys :whistling:

Also they may need a few yrs before the success they've had shows up in the big 12. It's a school that is renovating their stadium, and I don't think it's pushing it past 50k.

I think he would have had a much more successful career at Tennessee based on us going to a 3-4 defense but oh well it's his dads choice...

i mean his.

Good luck dalton. I honestly think you are going to be wishing you were going against a power running offense in the sec rather than teams like wvu, ok. St, ttu, etc....
