Someone send a message on Facebook to at least wait to we get to 10,000 post before he announces...

Seriuosly though.. I wish him all the best either way... Tough spot for an 18 year old to be in...

When you looked at this kid's offer list, Texas not being there was like a giant hole. Sort of like Otha Peters and LSU. It's been obvious from the minute that he picked up a TX offer that he was going there.

When it boils down to it at least we're experiencing the utx recruiting battle early. Our coaches will now know how to approach it, and be better for it. So will we as fans.

Utx usually seals up their classes a yr early and mainly stay in state. They've realized that they may not be able to compete on a national level if they stay only in state. Tx has great athletes but so do other states and other state schools with great players still go out of state to mix it up some. Utx is going to be on the "trail" now more so we better get use to them as a new foe out there. Just sayin...

Someone mentioned Rucker had some info on 247, but never actually saw anyone post specifics...what did he say?

If they do that, more of their instate players will be available

There should not be....the kid had done nothing....Fans have made him into a "must have" kid because of what... a highschool career.....We often thought he was packaged in with Neil....Well he is not....if he goes to TU.....

TU doesn't really want him but got caught up in the FAN Buzz.....

If it is over, it is over.....this will be interesting....It has been a over pursued 3*....He has a ton of upside potential that will be wasted....at TU....They call him a project at TU......at TU he is a project.....for them....out of position and the story goes on and on...

Felt and feel sorry for him....Dad has been there all the way....so it is hard for him to walk away......CSS must really like him for us to have held onto him this long.....

If we lose him......Most 3* or 4* would have been sent packing.....

Santos is not just a "must get" nor is he a "must have" but it has all to do with the Fit and the vision CSS has in mind to put onto the football field....He will get there....

This is a good sign for the future of our defense and the type coach CSS is......Just remember we were reminded in 98 and last year that DEFENSEs win NC....

You can score a lot of points but the other team can too and bet your backside.....if the emphasis is not on the right side of the ball....Neyland did it.....and it still works...and it is Tennessee football....you want championships and staying power get the defense above standard in the SEC....That is where we are headed....

So I applaud Tennessee for hanging in there for so long with Santos...The kid knows he just cannot combat it (parents)....

The answer mr. santos should have given the caller is "we will let you know when I have convinced him to go to TU" " I have not convinced him YET"

Agree 100% :good!:
