If they do that, more of their instate players will be available
For sure. That's a given. They will still get the top players, and OU will get them too. OU is utx's only real competition in tx...especially in north tx.
Just saying that now they r going to be involved more in the national recruiting picture, so glad our coaches and our fan base got to see it early. Sux we lose out on a guy that we really grew to want badly. Not because he is a class maker, but cause he is the bada** smash mouth leader we want/need in PMS151.
So Texas won't over recruit Santos right? Like if there just happens to be a top LB available next year out of Texas that is better than Santos surely Mack won't offer that kid a scholarship out of respect to promises made to Dalton's parents right?
Just got off the phone with Albert Santos and he told me that Dalton just hung up with Coach Dooley. Dalton informed Dooley that he is going to sign with Texas on Wednesday. Obviously not a surprise, but Dalton wanted to tell Dooley over the phone before he or his family talked with anyone today.
I agree with The Vol Tihts post. He shouldn't be announcing again, this is a waste of time, and doesn't help out Tennessee at all if he picks Texas. Pretty sure this is his third commitment, which is a joke in itself. Wish the kid the best of luck, but he has gotten more than his fare share of facetime during the recruiting process.
Also, TCU will never make a dent in TU's recruiting. TCU and WVU will be exposed and lose more games playing in a better football conference.
