That depends on his effort. Only he knows whether he is going to ball out or not. With guys that show their willingness to move on to 'greener' pastures, it will always be in question until it isn't. To wit: Boo Carter. Jermod McCoy (yeah I know... but)I would much rather have him with us than against us.
Good Lord guys. Y'all are gonna have to get past this bleeding orange stuff. We're now in an era of open free agency where players have the ability to up their paycheck every year. Do you really wanna judge someone in life who leaves one job for another paying double? You think he’s a hero now? He didn’t come back for his love of UT. He came back because draft stock wasn’t looking good, or he got offered a great nil package, or what’s likely is both.
I’m good with it, but let’s not anoint him a hero when in reality he was looking out for Mr. Carter, not UT.
Who do you try hardest to look out for? Your next door neighbor? You think he’s a hero now? He didn’t come back for his love of UT. He came back because draft stock wasn’t looking good, or he got offered a great nil package, or what’s likely is both.

He wasn’t judged. And we know well and good bleeding orange is done for any school. The only color that matters now is green. Was kind of my whole pointGood Lord guys. I don’t hate that he’s back, but I also don’t think the coordinator excuse was the excuse. He more than likely got bad advice from a greedy agent. Given his injury and performance they prob were getting reports his draft stock wasn’t as good as they originally thought.Everyone complaining at AC needs to remember his DC coach was fired and THEN he made the decision to move on…. Circumstances changed and likely forced his decision.
He was in a potentially lose lose situation if he didn’t adjust well to his new DC so he tried to “sell high”.
Maybe Tennessee courted him a bit to return and he tested the waters and realized he felt more comfortable with the “knowns” at UT than the unknowns at another team or in the draft…
I’m happy we got him back!
