He just had a “down” year and fielded the 34th defense with a program falling down around him. You realize that with the 34th defense we’re prob in the playoffs right now?

I've heard he's not the easiest to get along with. But if he is a winner and can do what he has done everywhere else he has been I'll take that all day. According to some here (not me) he may be the exact coach many which Heupel was. That sternness and ability to pretty much be the HC on the defensive side might be what turns us into a championship contender.

I'm not knowledgeable to comment about schemes and complexity. But the narrative his Defense requires a learning curve is common.

Like Heupel's offense empowers the QB his empowers the Safety position. Learning curve won't be an issue. We will without a doubt see a vast improvement going into next year.
