What the hell has he done at Bama? Nothing. There is 0 evidence that he's a better coach than anyone after facing an SEC schedule, because he's never faced an SEC schedule.

If basing it on what he's done since he was hired, then his performance is not good enough to be considered the #3 SEC coach. In fact, his performance since his hiring is not in the top half of SEC coaches. If we're basing it on what they've done before they reached the SEC, then the whole list needs to be rearranged.

Plenty of coaches ring up good to great seasons in lesser conferences and then belly flop when they hit the SEC. We have no more evidence that will happen than we do for him to be in the top3.

Would he be considered the #3 coach if he took over Vanderbilt?

If I was an Auburn fan, I would be livid too.

Receiving a 4th seed in the toughest region and being sent to small market Spokane, WA, where travel is more difficult, regardless of distance. They deserved a 3 seed at least.

These conference tournaments don’t mean squat. It’s similar to how we were screwed out of a deserved 2 seed two seasons ago.

Exactly. I read possum’s post as being directed at me (which may well be the case), but your approach would help ameliorate any future potential confusion here in our humble RF abode.
