They shoot 35%, which is middling, and make 11 per game on 1063 attempts. About 100 more attempts than Bama.

Just an initial gut decision, but gotta ride it now as I posted it.

I just saw that CBS Sports has today ranked the 3 teams in contention for that 1 seed. That is, a day after Selection Sunday, not the day before. Interesting.

Their rank order is: Tennessee, UNC, Arizona.

It pays to be a NCAA pet. Fake classes, no problem! It also apparently pays to be on the selection committee. I've made my peace with it, and happy with our spot.

I don't mind rational discussion. You may be 100% correct and they turn it around. Having played sports all my life, I know what a powerful force momentum is. It's hard to stop. It's also hard to get it back when you lose it. Me not having confidence that this team will go beyond the sweet sixteen doesn't make me a negavol or and idiot or the other things I've been called.

I’ll just say this and I’m not giving you s*** about your opinion or anything..The Vols did win 7 in a row after losing to TAMU and won 3 outta the last 4 during the very tough stretch to close the season..Some didn’t think we even go 3-1 against that part of the schedule..So the UK loss wasn’t totally unexpected and UK was shooting lights out from 3..The MSU game was not a good match up for us because we struggle any time there’s a big Man underneath the basket..so in my opinion, neither one of those games really killed the momentum going into the tourney..Some rest will benefit the team going forward..
