You know who forgot about that incident? ESPN forgot about it real quick....I don't think they ever even reported on that verdict other than to say the players were acquitted. If that had been us, they would have had teams of reporters here trying to dig up more dirt.who could ever forget what the judge said to 2 BAMA starters when they were arrested for stolen weapons and drug charges?
“I want to emphasize once again that the main reason I’m doing this is that I refuse to ruin the lives of two young men who have spent their adolescence and teenage years, working and sweating, while we were all in the air conditioning.”
They’re already talking about how she used the n word on twitter… more bs excusesI'm just catching up on all this Saban/Burton stuff and sorry if this has already been said but listening to Nick's press conference I noticed he slipped in there something about if you knew the entire situation which he does but doesn't want to go in to it. I wouldn't be shocked at all if that was a seed planted for if he keeps getting heat this week they can come up with some story to justify the situation. I would look for some scenario to get 'leaked' that she used a racial slur or anything to deflect critique away from Nick.
The sad part is Bama will still not be able to defend Hyatt and now they will have to defend Tillman and Bru and even Keyton. I think if we meet Bama again the score would not be 52-49. Tn would destroy that defense and I actually think our D plays better. Bamas offense threw everything they had at our D. They had nothing else to throw at our D but our offense can throw a lot more at their D but Bama owns SankeyThat is absolutely what would happen....and I think a big reason is that they won't be afraid of our fans outside if Neyland.
It hasn't been mentioned, but I think what happened in the screw job against Ole Piss last year had something to do with the calls we got in the Bama game. Those refs wanted nothing to do with enraging that worked up, liquored up Alabama game crowd.
They and the SEC office won't have that fear on a neutral field in Atl.
