He was .500 at Rutgers. I don't think that's immensely successful. I understand they're a crap program, but his record there gave me heartburn.Schiano was a pretty successful DC at OSU when we revolted against him. And he had been immensely successful at Rutgers. True he failed in the NFL, but so did Saban. I think the majority of those who didn't want him disliked his lack of being a decent human, not lack of coaching acumen.
I hope Franklin gets the full Schiano treatment.
And if it actually starts up, I’ll finally join Twitter just to throw gas.
He's also biracial, isn't he? So he gives you your warm and fuzzies, no? With the proven record to go along with it. Home runIn regards to your first sentence..... who out of even semi realistic candidates are “for sure better” than Franklin. I really can’t think of any based on resume. It’s all about how you view each persons potential and upside.
Yeah you will, you are just throwing a fit right now about something you honestly aren't qualified to know details to. Your assumption, because you dont like the guy, is that our AD and administration decided to completely disregard any character or legal issues with James Franklin to hire him after they just completely gutted the department because of cheating.Fired? I don’t know. I’ll just say this. If Donde and Boyd hire him after their integrity spiel I’ll never a trust a word they say again.
And I won’t watch the football team. Nobody will care but I’m not gonna follow them with somebody like Franklin leading the way. I want nothing to do with that guy.
Who wants to make a bet? Will @Neyland Rising catch up first or will we have a head coach first?
How many FBS football coaches have been racked up in two lawsuits in the past year and also had to testify in a gang rape trial?
I say the same thing to people who have their fly down. Frankly, I'm just embarrassed for you.A young lady at the grocery store had her mask down for a moment talking with her friend.
This dude walks into the store and without even breaking stride looks in her general direction, “Can you put your mask on?” While continuing on his way.
His intense concern for her health and well-being was admirable. Real American heroes still walk among us and don’t wear capes![]()
