No, Bruin I’m just not a dummy. I see a man who has had questionable things in his program alleged against him and don’t want him anywhere near the program because that probably means it’s going to happen here.

But yeah, I’m sure it’s just unlucky that wherever James Franklin goes he gets accused of shady ****. It’s all just a coincidence. Poor Franklin is a victim.

Who is a “big boy hire”

Frost, harbaugh, and Herman, we’re all considered “big boy” hires and none of have really worked. So who is this “big boy”

Fans seem to think they decide who the big boys are. Some of the criticisms of Coach A or Coach B on here are so asinine. Not going to try to argue with people though. I will be a UT fan and will support whoever they hire. I wish everyone who says they are out if so and so was hired would put their money where their mouth is.

Corbin is one of the most respected in the biz. Doubt he’d support someone he thought wasn’t a good person or had questions about their morality.

He and Corbin are best friends. Go to each other's games, vacation together, etc.

You'll quickly find that he told the players on the team he had seen the video, then changed the story when asked to testify.

Franklin will never even win a SEC title while Saban and Mullen are coaching in the SEC. Don't know why everyone is over the moon on Franklin, especially at $8 million. At that price, he'll be here for a decade.

Exactly. Scream into a pillow, text a buddy, stop watching the games, withhold donations, but don't make a public display, on social media or IRL.

I know many of you hold deeply felt beliefs about his conduct, but an uprising against the school's first African-American head football coach will be a PR nightmare, regardless of why you are doing it. The national media who already hate our fan base will see one reason and one reason only for fans to oppose the hiring of such a successful head coach, and the recruits and players will likely see it the same way.

Again, I know that is not why people on this board would oppose Franklin, but that is how it will be portrayed by Thamel, Dodd, Forde, Wolken, etc. Please keep that in mind and act accordingly.

Not thrilled with Franklin but we could do a lot worse.

Guy will probably bring stability here. I don't see him beating the Big 3 with any regularity, but if he gets us a competitive roster while navigating us through these troubled times, then I will support him.

He may not be the guy, but he may be the guy that rights the ship for the next.

PSU against OSU. 1-4 for sure but a win and 2 1 point losses against B10's Alabama is pretty good.
