Not going to lie, not sure how I feel about the potential of James Franklin as the hire. But in all fairness, I trust what I've seen from the new administration, and ADW is a rock star! The thing that I think about is that any negativity surrounding the hire is a moot point, because Franklin is too big an ass to care what people think about him.
I am intrigued at the National perception, I'd rather it be that UT was a better school than PSU (which it is) vs. some contrived health thing with his daughter being part of the narrative, but I guess whatever helps them sell it. The one thing I want in a coach is someone who loves UT, who sees the potential that can be achieved here and will dedicate himself to restoring us to SEC and National prominence. I can't help but think, that this would've been JF agenda walking into PSU as well, where he's not been able to get over the hump at all.
Like I say, conflicted how I feel about this one.
