Okay, how many coaches have are being sued currently for having an unsafe environment due to hazing AND had to testify in a gang rape trial and was also sued by the head trainer that was fired but wasn’t processed because of a state law where he field three says too late?
Read the lawsuit, the hazing one is 100% BS. The other one was dismissed

Bruce Pearl was what a dumpster fire Tennessee basketball program needed. Someone like JFrank or Lane is probably what our dumpster fire of a football team needs. We ain't going to win on talent, will need to be on a us against the world attitude.
Was just talking yesterday to my coworker about how Franklin and Bruce have very similar jerk personalities. I think he would have huge success here.

While this is something that needs to be vetted and is a little concerning, it’s not necessarily unhirable. People get sued all of the time, and some of those suits are frivolous. Some people get named along with others when they didn’t take part. I see it a lot.

How many FBS football coaches have been racked up in two lawsuits in the past year and also had to testify in a gang rape trial?

Pruitt and Elliot shouldn’t be compared. Pruitt clearly had red flags: cheating on wife at FSU, constantly fighting with coaches at UGA, and then being a “great DC” at Alabama.

What are the red flags for tony Elliot?

1. Being a “great OC” at Clemson
2. Was only co-coordinator entire time up until this year
3. Only has experience at Clemson. Knows only one way of doing things.
4. People are also over looking the year they had Kelly Bryant. Yeah they made the playoff but that was largely because of defense. 6 points vs Bama that year, 14 vs Auburn, 24 vs GA Tech, 24 vs Syracuse. It wasn’t like they were a great offense. He’s been great with Lawrence and Watson but outside of that has he really been that good???

If it is Franklin it would be a good hire and as far as background checks between being vetted at Penn State and possibly here—I don’t think he’d still be employed if there was anything found. When is the last time we did any kind of vetting or background checks on any of the idiots we’ve hired in the past? DW is doing his homework.

Kind of like Austin Pope’s exit interview talking about the culture. It needs to be more about thinking it’s cool to run through the T, get pictures taken and then get blasted by 30 to Bama. We need to play with a big ass chip on our shoulder.

Not going to lie, not sure how I feel about the potential of James Franklin as the hire. But in all fairness, I trust what I've seen from the new administration, and ADW is a rock star! The thing that I think about is that any negativity surrounding the hire is a moot point, because Franklin is too big an ass to care what people think about him.

I am intrigued at the National perception, I'd rather it be that UT was a better school than PSU (which it is) vs. some contrived health thing with his daughter being part of the narrative, but I guess whatever helps them sell it. The one thing I want in a coach is someone who loves UT, who sees the potential that can be achieved here and will dedicate himself to restoring us to SEC and National prominence. I can't help but think, that this would've been JF agenda walking into PSU as well, where he's not been able to get over the hump at all.

Like I say, conflicted how I feel about this one.
