Doc, I know you've probably been out of med school for awhile, but if you decrease the primary source of the spread of the disease, water droplets from the mouth and nose being sprayed out during respiration and vocalization,what happens to the likelihood that the disease continues to spread?

If everybody in a room is wearing a mask, and one of them is infected, what's the likelihood of the disease spreading, vs the same group of people in a room without masks?

... for the most part, they do. It's when people board airplanes and refuse to put a mask on, or they go shopping at a private business, where it is not left up to the individual. There are literally dozens of videos on YouTube right now of idiots either being kicked off of flights or refused service in a store, for not putting a mask on. Yeah Karen, you have the right to not wear a mask... and that flight attendant has the right to call the police and have you escorted off the plane.

That's an inaccurate article. "Aerosols" are much smaller than the filtration capability of cloth masks. This is exactly why N95s and respirators were invented and used by those at risk of inhaling viral particles and their associated aerosolized droplets, which have evaporated to much smaller diameters as they travel from the expeller.

In addition, there is little to no data demonstrating the safety of wearing a cloth mask to the wearer. The constant touching/wiping/adjusting of the mask absolutely has the potential to increase risk of infection. If you don't believe me, come spend a day in the office with me and observe.

I know this may cause some to challenge their preconceived beliefs, but it will take critical thinking to emerge from this crisis.

Were any of those protestors at the Tulsa rally? If not, I fail to see how it's relevant to the discussion about the likelihood of Herman Cain being infected at a near-maskless rally that also saw 8 of the president's campaign staff infected, along with a noticeable jump in cases in Tulsa.

I’m guessing not quite to this level though. Maybe I’m wrong but this seems way more restrictive than the norm. If you have knowledge of the language in a typical agreement vs this one I’m all ears.

Prove Cain was infected at the Trump rally. Also prove his choice Lin cancer had zero to do with his death. Prove him wearing a mask would have saved his life.

What a mindset. Smh. Yes, it is worse. He didn't have dementia. Presumably, Cain was like most people and wanted to live as long as possible. I doubt that his family is as cavalier about his death as you are. Maybe you don't intend it to appear this way, but your attitude comes across as "He was already old (74 - the same age as Trump, by the way) and not in good health anyway, so screw him."

I literally linked the article that included the study, but here's the actual study since you seem to like to tout the medical studies that you read in your leisure.
