I've read the thread. Cool screenshot skills though. I had no idea people would take standard attendance reporting so personally. Liars!

I’ve found my calling.

But, seriously, I wouldn’t have mentioned it except that someone was trying to imply that there were 19k people there. I was in section 110 row 24 and we literally had the whole row to ourselves and it was pretty well the same all around.

But hey, everybody does it, so let’s abandon reason, logic and actual definitions and turn a thread into a pile on about some BS.

Didn't have an issue with it mentioned, I'm always curious as to the actual turnout, just thought the "lying about ticket sales" was confusing. As did some others, apparently. As for agendas, I've only seen one.

To clarify, I was pointing to the fact that they now bar scan every ticket
I could understand it in the past where even adding up turnstiles wasn’t an exact science. But there is Claude and Maude with their fancy laser guns as I come through Ft. Knox level security. So, they know immediately how many butts are in the seats.

All I said was there was no need to lie about actual attendance since they have all this high tech.

The tech definitely makes it an exact science now, but I don't think that really has anything to do with why they report it the way they do. Jmo. But I understand the point.

No question it’s Gaines and ON.
Both should be players. Both are likely here 3-4 years. Gaines looks to be 6-6, maybe 6-7. He is super skinny but moves well and he didn’t seem hesitant. ON has a little Grant in him. Solid build and has some natural “feel.” I think he’ll be the steal of the recruiting class.

This has probably been discussed but is Pember's injury with the same ankle/foot he had an issue with in high school?

I never watched any of Gaines' high school highlights but I was a little surprised by some of the flashes I saw. Looks like he's got a pretty long wingspan and is athletic.

I worry a little about the consistency of Turner and Bowden as our "go to" guys. Should be interesting to see who steps up and I'm anxious to see Pons in the next few games. I mentioned in the game thread that I thought he seemed a little more settled out there than he did last year.

Who was trying to imply that? It seems everyone in this thread with the exception of 1 person knows that attendance isn’t actual attendance.

Has it ever been listed as “actual attendance” or just “attendance”?

We have a chance to be really, really, really good defensive team. It will be interesting what we look like in Feb. Gaines is a ballplayer pure and simple. He has it. Olivier is gonna be tough to handle when he figures it out.

I think JJ will once it starts clicking for him. Seems like he did in some of the videos I've watched.

For someone who has spouted about "facts","reason" and "agendas", seems he'd know the difference between an implication and the FACT that the official attendance is reported at over 19K....which is all that was posted.

But I'm not surprised, dude is the classic guy who accuses everyone else of doing the very thing he's doing. If he acts in real life how he acts on here, he must be quite insufferable.
