Praying for himI think I've gone into my wife's family situation before, but I'll give a little background. She was adopted and raised by her grandparents. Her birth mother was in the picture, but didn't actually have anything to do with raising her. Any time I make reference to my MiL, I'm talking about her grandmother, who actually raised her.
Anyway, to make a long story short, her birth mother married shortly before we started dating to a man named Don. Although not technically, he has been a grandfather to my kids (my FiL had passed away before I met my wife). So my wife found out today that Don has Parkinson's. If I could trouble you guys once more to say a prayer for Don. He is the only grandfather my two youngest remember.
Thank you my friends!
I don't know when I'll be able to update you on his condition. My wife and her birth mom are still only talking about twice a year . She just now told her about my situation if that tells you anything.
Lifting up Madi as well. God is good!Want to post on behalf of a teen in my area that could really use all the prayers she can get right now! Madi Moore is a 17 yr old girl from my neck of the woods that has been thru hell and back for someone so young. She beat AML leukemia in July 2018. After things are started looking up now she is in very bad condition battling graft vs. host disease, which is eating away at her lungs and skin. The doctors have basically said they have done everything they can possibly do medically. Things don't look good for her at all right now. Below is a pic and a story the local news ran on her last night.
