Was TennStud the one who wrote the GOAT post about him and his grandpa listening to Vols games on the radio on the front porch? Does anybody have that post handy?
No Stud lived in Memphis and was well connected. He knew about the Albert Means recruitment before it became public knowledge. Some of his posts on Gridscape were classics and entertaining to say the least

IMO, this has moved slowly because Pruitt wants to make changes and is exploring options. He's not an offensive guy, so he's probably feeling his way around what he wants and what he thinks will work best. Fulmer encouraged Pruitt to talk to people to get ideas on offensive schemes and improving offensive production. Saban did that, too. It's good advice, and it looks like Pruitt's taking it to heart. I think they meant to move quicker-- just didn't work out that way.
No, hell no! Pruitt is a meddling a**hole, that no one wants to work for, who may also be in over his head, and this may be way too big for!

Oh, yeah...blue font, so I don't sound exactly like the broken record that is the resident sh*theels.

From what we know I think it’s equally likely that Yurcich slow played us, knowing he might get a look from Ohio State. If the guy takes $400k less for a lower position then he clearly wants to be at the other place more. Not much you can do about that.
Did we offer him 1.4 million? Who started that rumor?

Perhaps Pruitt was so upset with VQ for releasing the 3 names is they felt they had Yurchich lined up and didn't want it out there that he could be open to looking around. Then Ohio st announces Urban retirement and Day promotion and they see that Yurchich is open to talking and reach out. Do they reach out if they don't know he is talking to other? Who knows but possibly day would have picked through ones he knew were options and not even looked that way. Not likely but I'd say that was probably part of the anger.

I think there was a some hesitation on Yurich at first due to different types of philosophy and getting opinions on different types of offenses. It just so happened that Ohio St. job opened up.
