BC is one of the biggest/best coups that Phil Spencer has pulled since becoming head of Xbox division. The quality and value of the Xbox platform is like night and day difference since he took over leadership from that dumbass Don Mattrick. I still think the platform needs more quality exclusive IP's but besides that, Spencer has got that platform firing on all cylinders now!

I bought my son the Minecraft console for $250 the other day. I'm going to return that and get this! This deal plus the Minecraft game is $225. So $25 cheaper and I get BF1 - a no brainer!

Im back on the Xbox train.

The S did it with the 4K movie support. Sold the PS4 for the same as I bought the 1TB Battlefield 1 combo so it was a wash (in my favor).

I hear ya. I got a ps4 last year and thought it would work out. Have now gone back to my roots. I don't know what it is about PS but I just can't get into playing games on it

If I hadn't invested 10+ years in my Live account I'd play mine more too. But 3 years in and I've only completed one game on it - Bloodborne. I'll likely use it more again when the sequel inevitably comes out, or a Demon's Souls remaster.

Thinking about buying a console, is Xbox the consensus? Does it matter if I'm not a diehard 12 hours a day gamer?

Depends on what you want as well. I just switched from the PS4 to the Xbox (I've been back and fourth a couple of times now). The 4K movies discs it for me.

I'd buy the one more friends have.

I do. I bought it on a whim without reading reviews (which I rarely do), and came away pleasantly surprised.

It didn't get a lot of press that I saw (I didn't know about it before seeing it in Target).
