Xbox One

Engadget interview with Aaron Greenberg:

I think it is. ... For us, we think the future is without console generations; we think that the ability to build a library, a community, to be able to iterate with the hardware -- we're making a pretty big bet on that with Project Scorpio. We're basically saying, "This isn't a new generation; everything you have continues forward and it works." We think of this as a family of devices.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this but has anyone played mount and blade: warband and if so should I get it on the xbox one when it comes out on the 16th?

It looks fun. Did you end up trying it?

Yeah it's pretty fun but I really like games like that so it may be different for others. There's no handholding in the beginning so be prepared to spend an hour or two on your first try then starting again once you get the hang of it. I've put a lot of hours into it already and if they let mods be released for it it's got unlimited replay value

Sounds like my kind of game. I'll check it out.

Call of Duty 2 and 3 and CoD World at War are backwards compatible now.

Been playing COD 3 here lately...I really feel like that is one of the most under appreciated games in the series. Actually takes some skill to be good at that one. Still a few people playing it. My favorite is WaW...I'm gonna have to fire that one up soon.

Lost Odyssey is finally backwards compatible. It's from the creator of Final Fantasy (Hironubo Sakaguchi) and its soundtrack was composed by Final Fantasy's Nobuo Uematsu. It's basically the true Final Fantasy 13.
