I was under the impression it was still in the air and that they entertained an idea of an amusement park as recently as this past week. I assume you have some kind of insider information that I don't have. I am just going off what the fatass Mike Matthews was reporting.

MM is arguably the worst tv reporter in the country. Don't get me started on him. If King Willie wants it a BPS, a BPS it will be. It needs to be something, the north end is dying/dead. BPS would be fine with me, though that is a long haul from Fayette County (not far at it's current locale though).

I agree, the North end needs something. I think it would help. At this point anything helps.

Was that loud enough for you??? During that 'Ford's Edge of Your Seat Play of the Game' the crowd went INSANE.

1/2 of TBA has Season Ticket holders that sit on their hands and are about 60 years old. When they die off and we move the Student section around the court then it will be loud and obnoxious. I do not see any of those hand sitters dying out anytime soon.

Funny that somebody who only watches the games on TV complains about how quiet the games are. Pretty freakin' ironic, in my opinion. Maybe he should actually GO to some games and contribute to the noise level!!

I know ... crazy idea.

TBA can get quiet fast, like when they have a 25-pt lead and the game is less exciting than watching my dog take a nap. But the place gets very loud when the game is close, and the TV doesn't do it justice.

TBA gets loud when it needs to, and I think Tennessee's record under Bruce at home proves that it's not an easy place to play.

Only time I heard it quiet is when the satelite feed kept going in and out.

there was actually 21,000 people there tonight and it wasn't that quiet I was there, especially when lofton nails everything in sight.

This is more like the answer I had in mind.

All I was saying is that I wish we could have a crowd that has the noise the Kentucky, UNC, Duke, Florida, etc have. I mean I dont know about you guys but hearing those crowds and hearing ours is like night and day.Thats all I was saying. I wasnt trying to talk trash about our team or our fan support. You guys get really offended really easy

I know TBA is loud "at times" or "when it needs to be" but I just wish we could be that loud throughout the game - like the teams mentioned above. And i'm not talking about tonight's game b/c I know its UGA.

Rupp Arena is not always loud throughout the game.
