So you never knew that Ainge, Peyton or Dobbs was starting? “Never” is a poor word choice. Like many programs across America, it simply isn’t game week and coach doesn’t want to divulge that info. Take a deep breath guy.For starters, I am usually optimistic and still am.
CJH said this morning that “they will announce a starter when they feel like they’ve (QB) earned it.
Why does UT never announce a QB until 10 mins before kickoff? It seems like we are the only team in CFB who never has a clear cut starter.
It never turns out good when we play this game. What is the secret? Are all 3 not that great and you’re just picking at this point? Concerning that at least 1 of the bunch hasn’t stood out.
I hope I am wrong, but it is never good when you don't know who is leading your team, 10 days before kickoff.
We knew who the starter was the last two years and .....well some of yall were equally distraughtFor starters, I am usually optimistic and still am.

I've never agreed with letting your opponents know who is starting in advance. The same goes with high school football and all this film trading that goes on. Why in the world would you give your opponent any significant advantage?
The better question is "Why would they announce a QB before the season?". Whoever it is, the coaches and team likely already know. There is literally no benefit for anyone other than them knowing. The short segments of practice that the media and fans get to see, that we all make our prognostications from, are scripted to show exactly what they want to be seen. You can't take anything from it.For starters, I am usually optimistic and still am.

I'd love to see the game day thread if Heupel would send this young man out to start vs BG. BTW.. He did have the best stats in the spring game(1) not concerning.
(2) stop inventing drama.
(3) it is Milton.
(4) everyone knows it is Milton.
so...
(5) stop inventing drama.
p.s. Too bad there's no such thing as a 4-6-4-8-6 haiku. I think I just invented a new art form. Compared to normal haikus, this feels really robotic. I think it's all the even numbers.

What advantage does naming starter give you? Entirely plausible that a few people play to give Pitt more to prepare for.
OMG!!!! Ohio State, Alabama, and Clemson have named starters. Those programs SUCK!I've never agreed with letting your opponents know who is starting in advance. Why does anyone need to know who the starting QB is other than the coaches and the actual starter. As long as CJH knows who is game planning for, no one else outside the program needs to know. For starters, I am usually optimistic and still am.

Coach speak..if you don't know Milton will be starting, then you haven't been paying attention.
