You know in the scheme of things this is not that important. It will be forgotten about in no time. Its the drama queens and trouble makers who want to make it bigger than it seems.

They aren't former recruiters of the year. I want the best recruiter on the staff recruiting. That happens to be CJP. I don't want any old coach recruiting. I want the best recruiter we have.

Convo to recruit from coordinator goes something like this in dead period. “ yeah we’d really like to meet with you once this period is over. We think you’d be a great fit for our program. Our HC will talk to you then. He’s kind of a big deal. Just so happens he’s kind of coaching for his 4th ring right now. Don’t you want to be a part of the 5th?”


Boy the recruits are really gonna run for the hills. You dummies need to put the phone down and stick to what your good at. Crack a keystone light and put a dip in.

Really convincing. What you essentially said is, "Our coach thinks his other players are more important than you, and he's just a little too good to speak to you."

This thread just made me realize how mediocre and irrelevant we really are.

It's not okay if some of us don't like it, we're actually stupid because we're not happy and excited about our new Head Coach marketing TENNESSEE for recruits, by coaching his Alabama team in the playoffs. Its like the greatest thing ever.

Makes me want to throw up.

but to answer the question Kirby Smart did, he recruits til dead period starts. that means no contact with recruits if i'm not mistaken. He then goes back to finish his commitment to bama. I personally have no issue with it. to me it shows recruits that he is commited & know who to get championships.

I would assume we don’t start him on the Tennessee payroll until after he finishes his loyalties at Alabama. The way money is spent at Tennessee would it surprise anyone that he’s already banking Tennessee money.
