I have a question on the sit out 1 year thing. Nick Pringle has gone from Bama to SC jr and now to Arkansas in consecutive years in the SEC with no sitting out. I’m pretty sure this new move is allowed because of the same jr college ruling as with Diego Pavia. But why was he allowed to go from Bama to SCjr last season with no sitting out? Are the rules different for basketball players?

It doesn't apply if you hit the winter portal, only the spring portal.

You do it in December and you don’t have to sit.
