What about Devin Brown? He transferred out from OSU to go to Cal, but he's got some company with another transfer. Would he transfer out?

We aren’t waiting for a guy to enter the portal before going after them. So if you see a guy who hasn’t been mentioned prior to them going into the portal (Angeli), it’s highly unlikely we go after them unless we whiff on everyone.

A lot of guys will be jumping in portal after their spring camps end. Most of them will be because they got passed up on the depth chart. So, a lot of the names we are seeing I highly doubt are on our radar.

Guys keep in mind that contacting players who are not in the portal is against the NCAA's rules and could result in punishment if brought to light. That does not mean Tennessee is not doing it, but it means that such discussions are being kept extremely private and we will not hear about them. We may not know we were interested in a QB until he signs with us and we may not know the name of who is coming to us until the day he signs with us.

Bringing in Joey Aguilar, and having him go Hendon Hooker would be the nail in the coffin for Nico’s father’s argument. Was it the Bear who said that a great coach could take mine and beat yours, and then take yours and beat mine?
