What did you have for dinner II?

This was lunch, but worth posting. BBQ pulled pork loaded nachos at a place called universal joint in Clayton Georgia. So awesome.

Went to a wild game dinner, I had wild hog, bbq deer, bear pot roast, and a bite of coon with mashed potatoes, slaw, green beans and a biscuit.

Grilled steaks in the outdoor kitchen.

I’ve got a pretty slick method that gives me a perfect steak now. I bought some Lodge cast iron griddles for the grill. Preheat them to about 550F and then put the meat on 3 mins on a side. Comes out perfect medium rare/medium and always moist and tender. No direct flame.

I seasoned with olive oil, minced garlic, and Saltgrass 7 seasoning. Perfect taste.

Highly recommend people look at the cast iron griddles for their outdoor grill. So glad I bought them.

Cast iron is great for steaks... I do something similar when it is too cold to grill. Sear in cast iron pan on stove, then into over to finish off. Smothered in butter.

Tonight... prime rib eyes on the grill, grilled asparagus, and a dozen or so cloves of garlic grilled in a pan of butter.

Contrary to popular belief a baked potato is not the perfect steak side. (In my opinion)

My two favorites are grilled asparagus or some angel hair pasta.

Bobs Steak and Chop House does this baked whole carrot in I think cinnamon butter that’s freaking awesome too.

Which Lodge griddle do you use? I think cast iron gives the best sear but I like grill marks, too.

Radar is up...Behr gave me a compliment! Or was it a compliment? :ermm::):loco::hi:

Was a play on words. Guess it sucked since I had to explain it.

And I compliment you pretty regularly, I tell others how you know everything. :)
