Grilled steaks in the outdoor kitchen.
Ive got a pretty slick method that gives me a perfect steak now. I bought some Lodge cast iron griddles for the grill. Preheat them to about 550F and then put the meat on 3 mins on a side. Comes out perfect medium rare/medium and always moist and tender. No direct flame.
I seasoned with olive oil, minced garlic, and Saltgrass 7 seasoning. Perfect taste.
Highly recommend people look at the cast iron griddles for their outdoor grill. So glad I bought them.
Cast iron is great for steaks... I do something similar when it is too cold to grill. Sear in cast iron pan on stove, then into over to finish off. Smothered in butter.
Tonight... prime rib eyes on the grill, grilled asparagus, and a dozen or so cloves of garlic grilled in a pan of butter.
