After all, who knew Florida had a top 10 team or Oklahoma, they're both damn good teams. Tennessee is also. I believe that.

After now 3 summers in their own process of their own design and pr design, if Butch & Co. would just tweak a few adjustments on the Field and stop worrying so much about his back pocket, they could have this --

I can understand your concern re: the media capitalizing on social media sentiments to generate clicks, viewer ratings, etc. However, I think that the more knowledgeable analysts are not being driven by social media and are only presenting what they have seen. VN is a very small portion of the global Volunteer fan base and vocally negative posters are an even smaller portion.

A program with strong leadership (from the University President -> AD -> HBC -> players) should be the primary drivers of the success of said program. See successful programs over the last 10 years, i.e., Foley or Saban. Florida and Bama have some pretty negative, social media active fan bases. It has not deterred the leadership of these programs from "winning".

Currently our leadership is made up of those who could not rise any further within the Florida University system and a former Fla. State AD, who was asked to leave, and was passed over as AD at his Alma Mater by Bill Battle.

We have bigger problems than negative social media rants.

He (and you) should be glad this fanbase still cares enough to get upset & still show up. Most teams would have an apathy problem after a decade of failure & ineptitude. And this idea that I constantly see around here that you cannot criticize the team or staff unless you were an elite college football player or coach is so simple minded it's pathetic. What would be the purpose of this board otherwise?

You pay me 4mil a year and I would personally go to the reporters house and give them a hand written explanation every week. With a huge smile on my face.

There are player blunders in every game for every team. It's the coaching blunders that have caused the three loses. No adding up anything. But I do suppose if the players had played the perfect game that would of overcome the coaching blunders. Also the players are not getting paid 3 million a year. I can't blame Dobbs for the poor play calling or Hurd only getting 4 carries in the second half Saturday. That's just stupidity.

Rightfully so. Fans on here saying every player sucks. Dobbs sucks, Preston Williams sucks, I even saw someone say Todd Kelly Jr. sucks. If the fans aren't going to stand behind the team, then they have to stand for each other. It's a brotherhood.

Because they're not the ones making millions of dollars a year. These are AMATEUR athletes that are 18, 19, 20 year old kids who are being coached by grown men who are paid a king's ransom to get the max performance out of their players. Like I've said before, lack of on field execution may not necessarily be the coach's fault but it's absolutely 100% their responsibility!

So you can't blame the players for missed kicks, dropping passes, fumbles or skipping passes? You're misrepresenting my point by saying they needed to play perfectly. They simply needed to make some plays. Coaching may shrink the margin of error but all need to share responsibility

Isn't funny how the elite coaches almost never seem to have issues with their players executing on the field? Funny how that always seems to play out.

Sure they have issues. Some are able to hide it better than others because the next man up is also a blue chip. They then get rid of that player and recruit over him

What coach ever said he doesn't have issues with player execution?
