Right on huff! I may have misjudged you. Jumped the gun, sorry man. Contrary to popular belief , I disagreed with Obama on many issues, he handled the economy well though. It takes guts to put party aside and do the right thing for this country. Seem some aren't willing to do that these days.

More like paying taxes to fund corporate welfare . Close the loopholes. How can the national debt be serviced by cutting taxes for the corps and the wealthiest of the wealthy. Been tried before and the result was catastrophic See '00 to '08. :crap2:

Top 1% pays 50% of all federal tax collected. Remember the left think even the top 5% who make an average of 154K a year in loaded...and can pay more with no issue.. The taxpayers are tapped out

The national debt ain't getting paid. It will not be paid by raising taxes. The government is going to be forced to try and inflate their way out or default on the bonds. Number two is probably the best option.

All they're doing is servicing interest. The debt hasn't gone down from one fiscal year to the next since the 50s.

Why shouldn't they be shopping on Amazon prime? I get deoderant there, shampoo, dog food, frozen pizza, etc.

It's often cheaper, especially if you don't have a car.
