"Welfare"

Doesn't it amaze you how some people live like pigs? I've never understood how some can be so nasty and not have an issue with it.

Buddy of mine had tenants who swept their floor, pet poop and all, into the HVAC floor vents.

I agree the way we currently run a RR is corrupt. I don't see what we do as adhering to the FF's intent, though.

Did they set it up to fail or did the corrupt bastardize it?

They did the best they knew how and like VS alluded to, it's one of the best, if not the best, systems. I am simply saying that we shouldn't just take it at a given that everything they did they "did it right".

Gotcha. I got the notion you were directly linking their effort to create our government with our current corruption. Almost as if it was designed to fail. Thx for the discussion.

Continental soldiers received bonds in lieu of pay. Many of the soldiers sold these to banks and influential people for pennies on the dollar. Under the Articles of Confederation, there was no centralized taxing authority. The Constitution made the federal government the central taxing authority and made the bondholders whole. That was not the whole reason, but it played a part.

That would be another public middle class tax increase. Good luck getting elected. The key to increasing taxes is to be stealthy about it. Inflation and money printing is an example of an effective stealth tax.

You are absolutely wrong… by definition the middle class does not earn enough money to have their cap lifted as they pay FICA throughout the enote year as they do not make $118,000. By lifting the Means 6.25% would be taxed on all earnings not just the first 118 K.. The government is not going to reduce benefits or raise the retirement age again therefore the The top earners will get soaked again

This is speculative as my opinion is too. It could happen as you say but $118,000 is middle class today and I think it would be very difficult politically to increase the payroll tax on the middle class.

118k family income or individual?

118k family income or individual?

I would say it depends on where you live. A family of four in Jackson, MS could have a nice standard of living on 118k. A single person living in Manhatten on 118k might not have such a high standard of living.

Then he doesn't need it.

It's not about need. When did you guys turn into communists?

You'll ***** all day about welfare, but when there are transfers of wealth that benefit you it's "life isn't fair" and "they don't need it".

hypocrites

Bingo! :clapping: Most tRump voters are low info and addicted to opiates. Hell half of 'em didn't know Obamacare was the ACA! Laughable, but it seriously isn't funny at all. :shakehead:

This is every bit as terrible as Moochelle, HilLiary, and Obummer. Who even thinks these are funny or clever?
