Never said he wasn't. Then again his life might be on hold because the girl is lying, or it might be on hold because he can't keep his pecker in his pocket. In case you didn't get my point, and obviously you didn't, it's that butch has a policy that if you get yourself in this situation, you're out until it's resolved. And that, as I said, we are all glad for because it protects our program. Is that easier to comprehend if I repeat myself?

In essence, I was agreeing with you. And the main responsibility of behavior is on the players. Butch has to set the standards and maintain that integrity. It is the player's responsibility to meet those standards.

What mess exactly did he put himself in here? It appears all signs are pointing to the idea that he's innocent....2 months later and no charges even filed. So is "the mess" that he was wrongfully accused while hanging out late at Pig's apartment? I agree with you that no one player is bigger than the program and Tennessee football goes on no matter. I also would've agreed early on that Von "put himself in a bad situation"....but not now.

Freak can we just start a new thread when there is actually some news on the Von Pearson front? I keep visiting this thread actually thinking there will be some update on Von's situation....

For real updates, keep an eye out for new threads with Von's name. There will be two or three at least if something breaks.

You should only really come here for the ongoing conversations...which are sometimes somewhat sort of related to the incident concerning Von.

The thread title is now misleading, though when the thread was created it was appropriate.

Updates? I'm still waiting for clarification on what Von actually did, other than get accused by somebody of doing something that isn't damning enough to get him criminally detained, arrested or charged.

Wait... actually he just exposed himself. Well, to be fair he may not have exposed himself to anyone, but he was at a party. He met a girl at that party and things happened.

We don't actually know anything happened but he was at the party.... maybe. AJ may have been there and now Von has to testify against AJ because he's being blackmailed by the state.

Von may not have been at the party though.

But why am I defending Chatt-Town (beyond the fact that you hit reply to me rather than him)? You are more than welcome to address him directly, Perhaps you meant to respond to Chatt-Town about it, and just hit the wrong Reply button.

Never said I knew what happened. I do not presume him innocent or guilty. Only that he is the one who put himself in this position. He is the one who is accountable for this situation. Previous posts were blaming Butch for him not being back.
