We sat and talked for about 20 minutes about the two cases, but much more about the AJ case. She said AJ's case has many more holes than Von's, but that this voicemail is pretty damning. She's a good friend of AJ, though, so who knows how much she was blinded by friendship?

Not sure what you mean by imported here - Slovin is a full-time, in-house beat reporter. He and Patrick Brown do exactly the same thing, though Patrick is far better at it, in my opinion. That being said, I'm not sure the Tennessean could poach him even if they wanted to. There's been a good deal of turbulence in their newsroom lately, and the TFP is a quality paper.

I was referring to the previous practice of importing data from KNS columnists, something that has largely come to an end with the hiring of Slovin.

Sorry I was just establishing that she spoke far more about the AJ case. She had a lot of info about that one, including saying that the girl was not even in specific places at the times she said she was that night. The only info I got about the Von case was the voicemail threat and that the case against Von, even with that, was still "probably" stronger than the case against AJ.

Once again the moth to the candle event. I saw the VP thread was bumped and thought for the 87th time I would check VP's update. SURE THAT THIS TIME THERE WOULD BE NEWS ON VP!
