Vols Schedule Will Change Starting in 2020

Don't follow, on one hand you want to drop Oklahoma but on the other you want to play 1 good OOC game. These games are made in advance, so there is no way of knowing how good or bad a team will be. I don't want to drop Oklahoma at all. Playing a big ooc game is a good thing. GBO!

No, I don't want to drop teams like OK, but I can understand why other people would feel differently. I started to UT in 1964 and have been a UT fan since, and I've always thought we had good OOC competition and hope it always stays that way.

Definitely. I like Florida in Sept, Bama in Oct and UGA in Nov.

As the 'Ol Ball Coach used to say...I'd prefer to play UGA in Sept. because there's a good possibility that some of their players would still be on probation!!

Anyway....I'd rather play Fla in November and UGA in Sept. But it doesn't matter all that much to me. I just wish we could do something to get our October more reasonable.

This might be the 2020 Football Schedule:

vs. Charlotte
at Oklahoma
vs. Furman
vs. Florida
vs. Missouri
at Arkansas
vs. Alabama
at South Carolina
Non-conference game — TBA
at Georgia
vs. Kentucky
at Vanderbilt

I might have to go to Norman in 2020, on a business trip :)

This is a big benefit to the Vols. Not playing UF, UGA, and Alabama so closely together really makes a difference. We might come out ahead on a move like this.

I agree. I wish it was Florida instead of Georgia moving, but its still better.

I wish Tennessee could drop Oklahoma and add a team for a home game like East Carolina or Western Kentucky and have another sure win

No. Any SEC team worth a damn plays one decent OOC opponent. Plus I think it is now mandated you play a power 5 school OOC. I’m pretty sure BYU fits in that category as well.
