Owen will make the falcons a Super Bowl team. The rest of the NFL have their heads up their ass if they let that player slip out of their hands. #truth.

I really love his quickness off the ball. Idk what they run, but if they're a penetrating 4-3, they'll love him.

PayScale – California Cost of Living: Los Angeles

"In California, cost of living is fairly high for most areas, and Los Angeles is no exception. Overall, the Cost of Living in Los Angeles is 50 percent above the national average. The cost of housing has the greatest impact on the overall cost of living. Housing in Los Angeles is 157 percent higher than the national average, a significant difference compared to most other United States cities. One bonus is that the cost of utilities is actually eight percent lower than the national average. This may not be enough to really offset the high cost of housing, but every little bit helps."

With the cost of living in LA approximately 50% above the national average, a 100k salary would equate to a 67k salary at a national average location. Most jobs don't have a 67k dollar starting salary. I understand you may not be able to live the high life on that salary in LA, but it is nothing to scoff at either.

True, but practice squad is not a safe job. Players are routinely released from it throughout the season. The only money that matters in the NFL is the guaranteed salary in your contract.

Yes, I'm just highlighting the fact that's it's better to get picked up on a practice squad and make close to 100k a year than not get picked up by anyone and having to start a whole new career path

Good stuff Kristy. I lol'd when they suggested that a "bonus" could be 8% less in utilities when you've paid 157% more for your housing. Hilarious. "Hey, your car cost $60,000, but youre saving almost 2 full dollars when you fill er up at the pump....move to LA!"

He does not mean that Tn not have any not get drafted, but rather all or most not get drafted causing this thread title.

It's highly unlikely UT will ever have all eligible players drafted even in our best years. There will always be UFA signings

Nobody cares what you make although you thought they did. Your post had nothing to do with my point. Money can't buy some things.

Never tried to make it about me. I guess you were too stupid to see the point behind it. You're bit¢#ing about someone making 100 grand like everyone who barely makes 6 figures has such a hard life lol. The average American lives off far less than that.

L.A. is a great sports town. About 4 million people have found a way to live in L.A., so I'm sure that Rams players will survive quite comfortably on their monthly stipend. And I'm guessing most would choose the beaches of SoCal over places like Buffalo, Minneapolis, Green Bay or Cleveland.

Is that guy serious, I make 19K a year and get by, barely but I still make it, if they can't make it on 100K then they are idiots.

You know, it's funny...when you're young and not making a lot of money you always think, "Man, if I could just get a job that pays x-amount, all of my troubles would be over and I would be living on easy street."

But then, if you're lucky enough and you finally achieve that magical number, it somehow mysteriously seems to not go as far as you imagined it would.

Thank God those aren't the only choices.

I'm pretty sure that's called living above your means lol

That is the annual salary. Practice squad only gets paid when they practice. They don't get paid during the off season. You might wanna do a little research before you look more foolish.

Good Point..

Practice players get signed and cut all the time on the practice squad as well..There is no guarantee money.. HENCE THE term PRACTICE PLAYERS

Certainly no choices in Oregon.

Oregon is horrible. You should definitely believe every bad thing you've ever heard about it. Please do not come here. And please tell your friends to stay away, too. And if you could try to convince all of the Californians who have moved here to go back to California, that would be much appreciated.
