My wife and I are thinking about a Mongolian horseback vacation sometime in the next few years. Since NATO doesn't seem to be on the ball, I may have to expedite those plans. With my Mongolian horde, namely two local guides and my wife, we should be able to penetrate into the heart of Siberia. Tuva and Buryatia at the very least.

You pick one picture out of many to make a snide comment. Good one. Even in the rural areas going cross country the babushkas come out and wave support. If you'd like I can post some more showing greater support. Just wondering where your crowd is. After all, you said Europe was tired of the US warmongering. Like I said before, I don't see any egg tossing. Care to find some pics of your crowd mass protesting? Or do you just like taking pot shots deflecting from your point being proven wrong?

So let me get this straight. Providing a nation with the equipment it needs to maintain its sovereignty is an act of war that justifies its neighbor to invade that nation merely trying to defend itself from that invader. This comes from a nation that is the leading exporter of weapons to nations who also want to defend themselves. What sort of backwards, troglodyte thinking do we have here?

Early on, Putin got the Russian parliament to give him the right to invade Ukraine, should he deem it necessary. I guess it got rescinded after a certain amount of time.

Although, only a mouthbreather could believe it was never actually executed on a limited (you can't prove we have or haven't) basis.

Very serious. My wife likes active vacations. Not a typical girly girl, who simply likes laying on a beach or roaming the streets of Paris.

For me, it will allow me to fulfill my fantasies of roaming the Asiatic steppes and mountain ranges on horseback while wearing furry things and not having to worry about a Russian killing me because I'm an American.

Oh, she's going with me. I don't really hate Russians (just think many of them are stupid, just like Americans), but she hates them (Latvian/Lithuanian ancestry).

But, if she manages to survive, you can expect having to hear about numerous feminist issues, racism, sexism, etc.

I don't ride much where there are pedestrians, but there is a short stretch of MUP I frequent. I'm sometimes amused when I quietly pass by walkers (with a safe clearance space, of course) and startle them.
