I think it obvious that Russia and all of it's allies are under attack by the US and it's cronies..

Sanctions, war and media demonizing. We are the bully, oppressor of the world. If countries don't submit to our global domination agenda they are attacked in some form or fashion.

How do people not see this?!

boo hoo, the poor Russian bear is so put upon :cray:

Okay, that's fine. But you said we had an endgame. Surely the endgame extends beyond merely demonizing Russia. Heck hardly anyone in the world likes them already, if you look at the polls.

Do you think our goal is to carve them up territorially, or just to make sure they can't exert a global reach, specifically financially?

The endgame is to carve Russia up into states like the EU. easier to control in my opinion.

Endgame of Putin is to carve up existing nations and rebuild USSR. And completely undermine Europe with his fringe right/left collection of friends. Love the company he keeps by the way. Not judging him by it though....Peaceful Putin seems to associate with fringe fascists, anti-Semites, and revived Bolshevik parties.

First term Putin? A thug but bearable (like what I did there?).

Putin since his return? Just not easy to work with. If good ol' puppet Dmitri was still in there things would be so much better. No need to carve up Russia. Just end the 18th century empire mentality. Or the 13th century khan mentality.

While this would probably be a good thing for the rest of the world, and even for many internal "Russian" peoples, how is this going to happen without a nuclear reaction from Russia?

Furthermore, it leaves numerous fragmented republics with nuclear weapons.

You really think this is the endgame?

If you think Russia is going to let NATO place missiles in the Donbass then you have another thing coming!

NATO encroachment is over!

Again, why does NATO need missiles in Ukraine? It could put them in Latvia and be just as close to Moscow.

I do..

Since the Russian media and conspiracy theorists say so, I'd say his answer is yes to the question

Interesting. Kind of related as well:

German military faces a major challenge from disrepair | World news | The Guardian

For Germany’s military, hobbled helicopters were only the beginning. A parliamentary report leaked to the German press last month and obtained by the Washington Post detailed the shocking state of disrepair of Germany’s military hardware. Only one of its four submarines is operational. Only 70 out of its 180 GTK Boxer tanks are fit for deployment. Just seven of the German navy’s fleet of 43 helicopters are currently flightworthy. For a country that has professed a willingness to play a greater role in world affairs, the bad news just kept coming. Last month German instructors en route to Iraq to train Kurdish fighters were stranded in Bulgaria due to an aircraft malfunction. The defence ministry is considering renting extra planes if mechanical problems– which have already led to flight delays – hamper Germany’s ongoing mission to aid Ebola patients in west Africa.
