Ukraine Protests

I'll hold off for further confirmation but Russian media quoting the terrorists in Donetsk say the Cyborgs (aka Ukrainian military) have withdrawn from the airport sadly.

Sounds like there is still heavy fighting around the airport so it seems like that was more Russian lies.

I'm about to sound like a complete tinfoil hatter, but I've seriously wondered at times, since the seeming sudden outbreak of police murders of blacks in America, if Russia isn't somehow behind at least some of this. They clearly have somewhat of a hold upon our intelligence agencies (no crap; I'm about to post about that below).

Obviously we've always had a problem with police brutality against and police targeting of African Americans, but, to play the part of resident conspiracy theorist, it's really odd how all of this has occurred together suddenly, given the crisis in Ukraine.

Prof, love your opinions but that is Alex Jones level ish right there lol.

Russian FSB/SVR/GRU

Of course but anyone who shoots down a civilian airliner or targets a civilian bus with artillery is a terrorist. Still I expect nothing less from the same agencies that were involved in Belsan and the theatre bombings.

To be serious though, you all need to read the Wiki page I linked of the Dugin book that is used in Russian military schools.

You will wonder if you're even in real life as you're reading that Wiki page.

Why does Kiev immediately blow the whistle after an event like this before any positive proof is shown? Its intersting that the European Parliament was meeting on the same day as this and the same day MH17 was shot down.

What would the pro Russian forces have to gain by blowing up a bus load of their own civilians right in front of a Ukrainian checkpoint?

There is evidence this area was out of range of the pro Russian guns..

What else do you call them?

Russian-backed separatists is a pretty good description. Its biggest flaw is that many of the fighters are from outside Ukraine.

Need to work a petrodollar angle into your theory.

I don't suspect they were aiming at the bus.

prof that stuff sounds just a reasonable as half the crap on here. of course one wikipedia page does not a theory make.

In Armenia there are protests forming over the murder of a family of 6 by a Russian soldier. The people are pissed because the Armenian government has ceded control to Russia and they've encircled the local Russian consulate.

Some people are going to be disappointed. The US should be doing more, but another nation-rebuilding project isn't in the works.

wut

This actually isn't that far off.

People need to realize that, while the US won the Cold War and the Soviet Union collapsed and the Russians went from being a legitimate fear to a complete joke... they didn't forget.

The US is their enemy #1. They had the Illegals Program (using more than just ethnic Russians) cracked open in 2010 and it's very much thought that only scratches the surface. Don't think for a second that the Russians don't have programs in place to attempt to undermine and destabilize the US.

So if you were Russian and you were trying to destabilize the US... wouldn't you fund and encourage radical groups that work against the "status quo" of the US? Wouldn't you exacerbate foreign policy blunders the US made?

That's basically how the US turned the USSR against itself. People dismiss it because the premise of the Russians successfully turning radical groups against the American government and people is terrifying so it's easier to get lost in American Idol and Biggest Loser.
