UGA collapsing

Most times I’d agree with you but I can’t see Georgia winning it. Defense will have to carry the load and eventually they’ll wear down.

I’ll pick Florida until it’s not. Tennessee will be really tough again but I think 21 is the year.
A 3 way tie wouldn't be too bad;):cool::D

5* Justin Fields transfers
5* Brenton Cox transfers

Dudes leaving for the pros left and right. Unable to keep their dedicated, ride or die QB, Jake Fromm. He was supposed to be their Tebow, their Manning, but no, can’t even keep that guy.

They led the SEC and most of the country in off-the-field issues last offseason.

Something’s amiss.
lol. QB's leave early all the time if they like their draft grade. Generally when teams recruit well their players leave early for the draft. Look at Bama/Clemson/OSU.

I get that it is exciting times for Clemson fans but that schedule makes for a season of boring football.

It was a disgrace.

Not as easy as you might think to keep the players motivated to cake walk a season and not become complacent and entitled
So is that the latest excuse for not playing anyone all season? "Yeah, but hey man, we had to keep them all motivated while playing all these sucky teams.. YOU try to do that."

I'll tell you one thing, it's a helluva lot easier than actually playing a tough schedule. Like, a thousand times easier?

And by the way, you don't have to keep them motivated for the whole season. Only for last game or two. And if you think it's tough to motivate them for the playoffs, then I have serious doubts about your mental capacity.

it was a crappy schedule, and teams shouldn't be allowed to cakewalk through that kind of season and get invited to the playoffs. It's a slipper slope that will not end well.

smdh

Darnell Washington just realized how much more he's gonna be blocking rather than receiving after what happened yesterday.

Mental capacity. Smh.

Yup, anyone who thinks 'keeping them motivated while playing a cupcake schedule' is as hard as actually playing a tough schedule needs their head examined.

It was a lame excuse and an overall weak reply, and you would have been better served to have moved on without commenting.

It's a bit premature to say that UGA is "collapsing." What happened to us after Fulmer was a collapse, one that we are still struggle to recover from.

But it is interesting to see some of the developments at Georgia.

Agreed. This isn't a collapse, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is a foreshadowing of more serious issues that will come out later. There is a lot of head scratching with that program. I just don't get it.

What happened to us after Fulmer was a ship starting to sink, after a couple of attempts, boy butch came along and punched holes in as many life boats that he could get to.

I would add the end of CBJ time here was also a collapse of epic proportions....

As I said in another thread, I wouldn't put dirt on them yet.

What I can say (and it's helped Florida), Pittman leaving has been a very big deal.

Keep telling yourself what you need to hear to make you feel better. From isn't close to being the best QB in this years draft, leaving early does him no good. I am curious who has UGA recruited to replace all the departures? Rumor is UGA is hoping for that Grad Transfer from Wake Forest, desperate times.

I absolutely agree with that, though he’s better than the fans who turned on him give him credit for. I do think Newman is a better option than anyone else on UGA’s roster currently.
